We convert your sell request to a temporary Atomic Swap Provider (ASP) instance, which we then instantly match as a client to allow you sell Monero → Bitcoin.
The COMIT Atomic Swap tool allows third-parties to broadcast themselves as an Atomic Swap provider, this is a server based service that Atomic Swap clients can connect to in order to request an exchange of Bitcoin → Monero. Usually this is useful only for providers who wish to broadcast and offer such a service for a medium to long duration.
Our interface will temporarily setup an Atomic Swap provider (ASP) for a single swap only. We'll then match the swap as a client, essentially using the ASP as a temporay tool to allow you to sell Bitcoin without needing to setup as a permenant Atomic Swap provider.
